The Pitching Mechanic

Illustrations and Analyses of Proper
and Improper Pitching Mechanics

The Pitching Mechanic is a collection of writings that I put together while first developing my ideas about proper and improper pitching mechanics.
In these pieces I describe what I like, or don't like, about the pitching mechanics of pitchers like Greg Maddux, Roger Clemens, and Mark Prior. I also give my opinion of dangerous teachings like the Inverted W, Inverted L, and Inverted V and problematic ideas like scapular loading. All of my writings grow out of my perspective on proper pitching mechanics and pitching mechanics in general.

About Me
If you are interested in learning more about me, I have put together a page that describes who I am and how I got here.
In general, I have begun to develop a decent-sized following of people from around the world who are interested in my ideas about baseball, pitching, and pitching mechanics. As a result, I am starting this blog to share with people what I am currently thinking.
One thing that I plan to do in this blog is to do more real-time illustrations and analyses of the pitching mechanics of major-league pitchers. Of course, I still plan to continue putting together my professional pitcher analyses and my detailed analyses of the mechanics of certain pitchers, but those analyses take a lot of time. I hope that this will be a way that I can share my knowledge with people in a way that addresses both your needs and my time constraints.
