Rotational Hitting Podcast (MP3)
Sorry I've been quiet of late. I've been studying the hitting instruction market
and have been trying to decide whether it makes sense for me to
put out a hitting DVD.
The answer I keep getting is "Yes."
As a result, I've started putting some scripts together
and have put together a
rotational
hitting podcast (.MP3). This podcast is a primer that
discusses rotational hitting at a fairly high level.
If you would like to save the podcast to your computer,
but don't know how, just right click on the link and choose the
"Save Target As...", "save Link As...", or "Save
As..." option.
You can also feel
free to send copies of this podcast to your friends.

The Major League
Swing
Over the past few months I have gotten a number of e-mails
from people whose coaches hold, and teach, ideas that don't
reflect what major league hitters actually do. Often, what these
coaches teach will destroy a hitter's swing rather than making
it better.
In some
cases, such as when the coach has a gigantic ego and won't
listen to anyone, you can't do much about this situation. All
you can do is act like you are listening to and doing what your coach is telling you
to do but actually do what you know is correct.
However, in some cases coaches are well-intentioned but
ill-informed. They are smart people who are receptive to new ideas, but unfortunately
don't know what they should be teaching hitters to do. For cases like that, I
have put together a PDF document called
The Major
League Swing
that explains what the best hitters in the world actually do
when they swing a bat.
Hopefully, this is a document that you can e-mail or hand
to a coach and say, "What do you think about the ideas discussed
in this document?" Ideally, reading this document and
seeing the examples contained in it will open their eyes and
show them that they may need to rethink their approach to
teaching hitting.
Feel free to e-mail this document to whomever you like.

Testimonials Needed
Over the past couple of weeks, I have gotten a number of
calls and e-mails telling me that the approach to hitting that I
discuss on this web site really works. In a couple of cases,
college and minor league hitters have told me that I have helped
turn them into power hitters where previously they were only
contact hitters.
Now that I'm convinced that what I am teaching really
works, I have decided to start putting together a book that
discusses my approach to teaching
rotational hitting.
However, to ensure that my book will sell, what I need
are testimonials that I can put on the back of my book and on my
web site and that will make up for my relatively meager
credentials. As a result, if you have been helped by what you have read on
this site, and especially if you haven't paid me anything for
that information, I would appreciate it if you would consider
e-mailing me a short
testimonial that I could put on my book and web site that
explains the results you have seen as a result of what you have
learned on this web site.
Thanks.
